Aswan, Abu Simbel & Luxor in Two Days
First, fly from Cairo to Aswan for Philae, the High Dam and Abu Simbel. Then, continue overland to Luxor for the West Bank and East Bank before flying back to Cairo.
DAY 01Fly to Aswan – Philae, High Dam & Abu Simbel

Early Morning Departure from Cairo
First, your journey begins at approximately 3:00 AM when our representative picks you up from your Cairo hotel for your domestic flight to Aswan. Upon arrival at approximately 6:00 AM, our team will meet you and begin your private sightseeing tour. However, exact times remain subject to the confirmed flight schedule.
Philae Temple and the High Dam
First, visit Philae Temple, a spectacular island sanctuary dedicated to the goddess Isis and renowned for its intricate carvings. Next, continue to the Aswan High Dam, the modern engineering project that regulates the Nile and generates hydroelectric power.
Journey to Abu Simbel
Afterwards, at approximately 10:30 AM, travel by private air-conditioned vehicle to the Abu Simbel Temples. Historically, the temples were carved into a sandstone cliff during the reign of Ramesses II. Later, they were relocated to protect them from the rising waters of Lake Nasser.
Discovering Abu Simbel
Moreover, the Great Temple honors Ramesses II and features four colossal statues on its façade. Nearby, the Small Temple honors Queen Nefertari and the goddess Hathor, making it an exceptional royal monument in ancient Egyptian history.
Return to Aswan
After the visit, return to Aswan and check in at your hotel for a comfortable overnight stay. In addition, you may attend the optional Sound and Light Show at Philae Temple; however, this experience is not included in the package price.
DAY 02Transfer to Luxor – West Bank, East Bank & Fly to Cairo

After breakfast and check-out, travel by private air-conditioned vehicle from Aswan to Luxor. Subsequently, begin exploring the archaeological wonders of Luxor’s West Bank upon arrival.

First, visit the Valley of the Kings, where New Kingdom pharaohs were laid to rest in richly decorated tombs. Afterwards, explore Hatshepsut Temple at Deir El Bahari and stop at the colossal seated statues of Amenhotep III known as the Colossi of Memnon.
Luxor East Bank

Return to Cairo
